Tetrahydrocannabinol is the most predominant of the Cannabinoids found in cannabis. There are thought to be over 80 different cannabinoids but Tetrahydrocannabinol was the first discovered in 1964 at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israelis. Since its discovery THC has been found to have remarkable analgesic properties, and almost direct connection on the digestive system.
Cannabidiol is usually the second most prevalent cannabinoid we will find, up to 40% of pure extract will be CBD. Cannabidiol was found by the sraelis in 1964. CBD Does not possess the same psychoactive properties that THC does, and in many cases has been found to suppress the psychotropic properties of THC. Instead CBD if found to have a more calming anti psychotic for most people as well as a strong motability for THC.
Usually found in smaller quantities in most cannabis plants, Cannabinol has been found to be a metabolite of THC. In studies done thus far CBN seems to have an affinity for the CB2
receptors helping with the metabolism of THC.
